Rwanda 

The death of the Rwandan President Juvenal Habyarimana, a Hutu, when his plane was shot down above Kigali airport on 6 April 1994.Rwanda is located in East Central Africa and its government is a republic. In 1994 about 800,000 people were mass murdered in less then 100 days. The ethnic racial tensions between the Hutus majority Tutsis minority had been going on for years. In a city in Rwanda called Kigali, leaders began to murder the two racial groups. The genocide was sparked by the death of president Juvenal Habyarimana who was a Hutu.
